Oh! *grin* Another Ogden Nash fan! I love his work.

In fact a few years ago, I did some LotR poems In the Style of Ogden Nash for a challenge to do LotR in the style of a different author.

I've often thought JRRT might have gotten a kick out of Ogden Nash--they were contemporaries, and he conceivably could have been familiar with his poetry.

These are great! What a delightful way for young hobbits to learn about the Fellowship. I especially enjoyed Gimli's. :)

*snicker* I did have fun writing them! I came up with Gimli's fairly quickly--and decided at the last second to "misspell" "off" so it would rhyme better!

I loved these so! Although my favorite line is the last one in Boromir's poem. So Ogden Nash! Thanks again for the giggles!
