Author: Linda Hoyland Title: Man of many Faces Rating: PG Theme: Lion and Lamb Elements: angry/amiable Beta: none Author's Notes: none Summary: In a day, Aragorn must play many parts. Word Count: 150
Aragorn would have definitely needed someone to come home to after such days in court. And I love that he separates himself into many parts. He would have needed to do so as a Ranger, but it looks like it's serving him well as the King. The troubles at court don't trouble his family. Instead, he can enjoy their company. Very sweet and very in-character for Aragorn!
Hmmm...this was interesting. From the books, I never really saw Aragorn as the type of character to be violent when angry. I always pictured him as the "cold and wrathful" sort. Of course, that was merely my interpretation.
I liked the shift in emotion from beginning to end. Your element covered more extreme opposites that some of the others, and I thought you conveyed that difference fairly well, though perhaps a longer piece would have done the emotions more justice.
In any case, I rather liked this. It was simple, but had a definite point.

But you can just see how he breathes easier as he sees his family.
