The Vampire Diaries IS awesome (barring the first five episodes or so), w/e world. And I have great taste so obviously my opinion > everyone else's.

Yes, but... you fancy Crazy!Ten.

Oh hell, I fancy him too.

I shall look into TVD, if it comes so highly recommended. :) I have no idea what it's about except that my BFF read the books during her maternity leave and kept texting me about how lame they were. Also, that Boone from LOST is in it.

What is so special about it for you?

CRAZY TEN IS THE GREATEST.

The Vampire Diaries gets really awesome when halfway through S1 it suddenly stops trying to be Twilight and is AWESOME AND AMAZING INSTEAD. It's got a very fast-paced plot and big cast and people die every episode (it's a little like LOST in that way) and it has co-dependent screwed up brothers PLUS an awesome core of really well-developed female characters. Much love.

Can't say much about the Vampire Diaries except that I watched the first episode and was totally bored by it and then never returned to watch more*lol*

As for How I met your mother, that show is awesome!:)

*hugs*

I kind of kept myself from watching TVD mostly because everyone in SPN fandom seems to hate it. Also, I feared it might be a total Twilight cash-in kind of thing.

I do like Neil Patrick Harris a lot, and my brother mostly has taste, but the tinned laughter is putting me off. It can't possibly cater for an intelligent audience if it tells you what to laugh at, is my view.

*hugs back* How are you for Winter Wonderland over there?

Winter Wonderland indeed*lol*

We've had snow for several weeks now. I think ever since the beginning of December we've only ever been without snow for two days at the most. Other than that everything's white and has been for weeks and the weather forecasts talk about even more snow coming our way tomorrow and on Christmas*yay*

So far I still like it:)
