The crow that called out to me this morning
gave me quite a start.

He said to me "Be careful darling
or I'll get your heart."

It is so gray out today. I dislike it a little.

Please rain. Please rain. Then the sun will come again.

I have adjusted the color of my wings.

I find myself unexpectedly awake again. At night ! I am usually a creature of the sun, so to be awake at this hour is so strange.

What shall I do?

I am surprised to find myself awake again ! Is it a sign? Come to think of it, I have been feeling stronger lately.

I shall make some breakfast and stroll in the sunshine. It is too nice today to stay indoors.

I do not usually find myself awake so close to the weekend ! The boys have been louder than usual (laugh).

I shall take them to the rose garden.

I sat in a tree and watched the cars go by.

It rained.

It smells w o n d e r f u l !

I may like this one best after all.

It reminds me of the hydrangea in the shop on the street corner.

Shall I walk there today?

No. Not at this hour.

Tomorrow then. I shall buy some violets.

There are so many colors and all are so lovely.
