So, sometime around 5th grade, I went to get my hair cut, and they told me they were going to take off an inch or two of split ends....and they took off something more like 4. And, being in 5th grade, I took it a little personally.
And waged war on the notion that split ends were Teh Evilz.

Linda called last night because Ris posted those pictures on her Facebook. I think I flunked whatever test I was given becaue I clearly didn't react the right way - or at least the way Linda was expecting

To be fair, there are bits i would change. I was aiming for a little less fluffy, i think, and what i have in mind involves the use of hair gel. But its pretty close given i had no idea how to ask for what i wanted.

Upon further review: Linda likes it - she didn't like that I failed to become instantly obsessed with seeing a picture of your new do. Her statement: When I think you really want to see something, you should really want to see it.

For you too young to know: Joan Jett's (as part of Joan Jett and the Blackhearts) most famous song is "I love rock 'n roll" - hence my question. The wooshing sound is that reference going right over your head, I guess.
