So any guesses why the attempt at favoritism?

I'm the only one who still stands to be friends with him. He was promoted to manager recently after a battle with the DM which caused him to act an ass towards all of us in order to get the position. Now he has it, and he's a different sort of have-power-then-use-it ass, who would rather write people up than give warnings.

He's a good person when he isn't in charge of something [rolls eyes]
