I am an avid reader in the Sherlock fandom and do have several recs. Let me poke around a bit and I'll send you a few. I have a fabulous story that unfortunately has a ton of het sex in it. It really doesn't take away from the story. It's all about the Sherlock/John love, though. Let me know if you're interested.

Alright, here's a great story: Too Much To Hold by Sparkle_Free - John becomes guardian of an old friend's autistic son, and learns something about Sherlock's diagnosis along the way.

I read this before Asperger's became canon. *grins* Wonderful story.

The female is an original character, although she is ostensibly Mary Morstan. I adore this fic and have gone back to it twice. It is amazingly well written and the characters are lovely. It features an asexual Sherlock who is in love with John. Again, lots of het sex, but the love affair and main pairing is between John and Sherlock. I'll keep looking at what I've read and see what I have to rec. But this one is the one that popped into my mind immediately.

I just don't have the time to bang out the long, plotty fic I *want* to be writing. I have the beginnings of a couple, but I can only work on them in snatches between everything else. So, there's not much emotional development in the bits I'm writing and you know how I love my characterization! :-D

Yes! I'm going to post the texting fic soon, but I want to join AO3 first. I've already joined sherlock_bbc, which seems to be the hot spot, and I'll be posting there, too. Do I need an invite for AO3 (and if so, would you happen to have one?) or can I just sign up?
