Lovely. Tender and hot at the same time.

I love the way Giles let him get away without talking about the nightmare, but you know that sometime in the future they will have that talk, with Giles cuddling Xander throughout.

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it, hon! And of course they'll talk about it. They'll be sitting together on the couch some day, curled up close. Xander will be watching the TV and Giles will be reading a book and pretending not to watch the TV and Xander will reach over and pluck the remote out of Giles' lap and he'll just start talking, babbling, and Giles will wrap his arms tighter around Xander and rest his lips on Xander's shoulder and he'll listen. Then, once Xander runs out of babble, he'll pick up the remote again and flick on the TV, set it back in Giles' lap, and snuggle up even closer. :-D
