Three years ago today, and it's not anybody's job to keep score, but there you go. It is all rain and lightning today, and I remain hopeful that one bolt will strike the DeLorean's antenna and charge its flux capacitor, allowing me to joyride through time in style and see my friend again.

the only thing i remember about that day, the morning after, is you. i hugged you and your bones felt light and hollow. and then your parents, how they brought pizza that evening and they just wanted you to eat.
