Since I am all disorganised and so on, I have my questions for this meme in two separate posts. The only thing to do seemed to be to post a separate response and collect it all together in the comments. Which can't be sensible, either, but... oh well...

clocketpatch: 15 (Gene Hunt) was going out with 2 (Lynda Day), but then it ended - how did it end (and how did it start/i<>?!?) and who will cheer up 15 now that it's over? Why is 2 now dating 7 (Tegan Jovanka)?

Luckily, if taken together with pitry's scenario, this has a certain logic, otherwise my brain would have exploded.

Obviously, Lynda in her attempt to get back from 1980 tried to see if Gene knew anything about all this time travelling. When that didn't work out for all the many, many, many, many reasons it never would, she found that Tegan had a more practical time travel related plan, and so... *cough* As for the rest, well, if we return to the same scenario, he does have Ros. Definitely till death do us part, that pairing.

(Actually, I think my brains may explode anyway...) :lol:

Who is Lynda Day? This name sounds familiar, but my google searches keep bringing up an American actress named Lynda Day George and I don't think that's who you're talking about...

Hah, it should the way I've been going on about Press Gang lately. If you Google it, Lynda Day Press Gang does come up, too. :-) (And btw, because I had to go and look for that I found the Wikipedia entry and it has a horribly, horribly dark interpretation of the show and it's ending. Which was potentially quite dark as it was. It's someone's theory, though. I don't buy it - Lynda was never as callous as she appeared and her best friend always knew that, even if no one else did.)

Yes, sorry (you've freaked me out, accidentally!), Press Gang was the 1990s Teen drama show that was Steven Moffat's first contribution to TV. Lynda Day is the Junior Gazette's ruthless editor, played by Julia Sawalha. I watched this when I was a teenager, and wanted to grow up to be Lynda Day. Even if that would be a really, really bad idea. :lol: It's my current obsession, as I'm rewatched and writing ficlets, so I couldn't give a short answer. (Lynda Day fanvid if you wanted illustrations. ;-D)

daibhid_c: 2 (Lynda Day), 9 (Ros Myers) and 14 (Leela) are locked in a room together. Who goes mad from having to deal with the other two first?

It's a bit hard to imagine any of the three giving way to insanity, or any room that could contain them, so I can only answer that they got out pretty quickly. If it counts, Leela would have been the first to resort to violence. Lynda might have played the other two off against each other, and Ros would probably win any actual fight.

-- Who's there as part of an evil plot to take over the world?
The Master and Servalan.

-- Assuming that more than one person has an evil plot to take over the world, who is (or starts) working together, who is working independently, who knows that others are also trying to take over the world via the show, and who has no clue that they're not the only one with an evil plot?
Say that again... Right: Servalan expects treachery. The Master is often taken by surprise when his allies turn on him, although you can never be sure.

-- Who's there to stop the evil plots to take over the world? Who did they come there to stop? Who finds out about the other evil plots, and whose evil plots do they find out about?Here goes ( ... )

This really should be the other way around. For Elizabeth, naturally, she would take Darcy, don't you think? As for Vila, um, well - the nearest bottle of wine/ handy valuables belonging to someone else?
