Well, I was a little bit young to take notice at the time, :-p but elsewhere on the net, velvetfascism told me that as I liked 70s DW I I should watch B7, too. And next minute I find an abridged VHS of the first 4 eps for 50p in a charity shop. :-D I am torn between much amusement at the trotting back out of every TN cliche ever seen in DW and other similarities and being all intrigued by it. And liking Avon never being anything other than snarky no matter what happens.

Yes, primsong had me reading Hornblower (although that reminds me, I still haven't finished it and I must, or give it back to the library!), you got me to buy Other Lives and, as a Librarian I can't help but go round recommending things to people...
