More Storytime!

Of course, it's not only the Simm Master who likes to tell stories at the creche.  All sorts of characters have been roped in, either by Izzy, or trying to carry out some evil plot.

Other narrators (1)

...I didn't even review this?! Oy! *could have sworn I did* Because it is AWESOME. (Harry Sullivan! And Lady Catherine! And the Master! And Three as Mr Bennett! Also: Maria Lucas is a Clanger. *snert*)

Anyway - I have been and gotten myself an online bookmarking account (finally), so I am poking round bookmarking things. Starting, of course, with the ones I always find myself scrounging for and unable to locate. And anyway, I thought I might as well try to leave reviews for all of them while I'm at it.

(Not that I am any good at reviewing. o_O)

Aw. thanks! Glad you liked it. It took a lot of doing, and I've never been entirely pleased with it (can't put my finger on exactly why - maybe it was the fact that it took so long to do!!), but the idea is sound, so I'm happy to provide amusement. :-)

I should, of course, feel terribly guilty at this point, but nice reviews block out all other considerations. :-D

Out of interest, where are you using for bookmarks? I had all mine on delicious and then it actually did go all to pieces when it got taken over. I've escaped to Diigo instead for the moment. (It's very distracting. Don't try to start cataloguing the entire internet... Or is that just me. ;-D)

I'm using Pinboard. I quite like it, because the coder-guy who runs it (1) is one person and not a board of stockholders; (2) is a self-identified "grouchy hermit" who is very firm about his priorities re: data privacy and Not Messing Stuff Up and generally making things work right and not annoying site-users; (3) seems to understand fannish culture.

(Also, because of the one-time membership fee, there are Guaranteed No Ads Ever. Which is nice.)

I, er, may well be cataloguing the entire internet? *g* Well, probably not. Just the bits I've read, and the bits I am reading. But I make a conservative estimate that I've read many thousands of fanfics in the last, hrm, three or four years... most of which I can only find again by, essentially, keeping an entire tagging system and search engine IN MY HEAD. So I'm sort of transferring that tagging system to Pinboard, bit by bit, so that I can then use the freed-up mental hard-drive space for, you know, college and work and suchlike. ;P

Oh, that sounds cool. I shall make a note in case Diigo ever does the same thing to me. (For the moment, it seems okay, although it has ads. You can highlight some bits on a long page though, which is quite fun/useful).

And, LOL at the story linked to in the blog!!

Heh. If enough of us try hard enough, we'll catalogue sometime soon, right? ;-)

(I see Kat hasn't commented here, so I just thought I would mention I linked her this a couple weeks ago and she LOLed throughout reading it. Also we are now agreed it is MADE OF EPIC AWESOME AND WIN. Because, you know, it is. :D)

:-D

Thank you! I am still not entirely pleased with it, but I see that now I am outnumbered, I must be wrong and it is more awesome than I realise.

Heh, I do miss Storytime! occasionally.
