Well, only a tiny bit was fic - it really wasn't the thing to do on the one day in three weeks that I felt at all functional - the rest was just one really silly small thing after another. Heh. But hopefully that won't happen again!

What?! If they're published by Girls Gone By Publishers, it'll be that they're out of print as GGBP do limited print runs. But they do, occassionally, do another run of a title. You might want to check out their website to see what they've got available. They don't charge anywhere near £80 for their books!

Well the ongoing work situation still sucks. I'm having to do some pressing most days (some days more than others), which is leading to spasms in my kneecap (yesterday it seized up and I had to stand stock still and wait for the spasm to pass so I could walk again); spasms in my thigh muscle, and lots of throbbing, aching pain.

Heh, thanks! And don't worry, it's not like I don't have other Silver fics to write! There will be more Silver and pretty soon, too, I assure you. Actually, are you still up for betaing that NYR Silver-Steel fic I was talking about ages ago? If I can stay well for long enough to do the last bit of editing/typing on it, it should be ready this week, if you were willing?

I stopped following intoabar when I sorted out my RSS feeds because it was dead! I'll have to put it back again and think about signing up. If I can decide on a character and some fandoms.

I have started An Unearthly Child at the Chalet School, but that doesn't help you much. Plus it will mostly be Barbara, Susan and Ian. I am aiming to get it done for the 50th anniversary.

Ooh, that does sound like a v good idea. It may not help my immediate wanting CS (but tomorrow I will likely have forgotten again) but it does cheer me up quite a bit at the thought.
