almost because that would mean eleven only likes river Out of curiosity, btw: I remember you saying that your issues with Doctor/Romana had something to do with how it was pushed as canon. Shouldn't you be having issues with Doctor/River, for similar reasons? I mean, it's much more hyped as Real True Canon Love Forever, after all. ;D

Noo, they both chucked him out of the room and had a thing without him. ;-) My brain's cracky that way. Then they all tried on clothes together and River destroyed hats, which was probably what ended the evening. Naturally.

I just don't do all-the-Doctors/Anyone as an OTP in fanfic. Except the TARDIS. And I don't really feel River is portrayed as even Eleven's OTP on the show, let alone all the Doctors, so it doesn't bother me. And I like Romana shipped with individual Doctors fine. (I've got a definite soft spot for Four/Romana I and Eight/Romana II particularly - I love the way they are together.) It's when it gets OTPish in fanfic with anyone I tend to stop reading, that's all. We all like different things.

What I'm wondering at the moment is if Clara is in some way fobwatched (or something-ed) Romana...?

Wow, you wrote a lot of things! :D

Your (Eleven)/River/Romana one is cute. I kept trying to figure out if the Doctor was just describing something else entirely and only making it sound like an innuendo, as he might do by accident, ahaha. Poor Rory having to listen to all that. :P

I know! It happened gradually, though - I started scribbling things down when people first were signing up, so it didn't feel like a lot.

Thanks! And, yes, with the Doctor, you really can't ever be sure, can you? And even Romana - she and River could well have just ended up talking fashion and the Doctor and who knows what... :-)

Thanks for writing the Third Doctor/Liz/Brigadier piece. I'd have thanked you earlier, but was offline most of the last several days. I really must get my own wi-fi Internet access set up here, for those times when the neighborhood signal I use goes wonky. Gaaaah.

And, yes, you probably should, then. It's so frustrating to be without net access these days - it's needed for so many things...

Oh, and I finished my B7 rewatch last night, and am being hit with a mass of feelings and nostalgia... I miss the messy offline B7 fandom that I knew in the late 1980s/early 1990s, which was so messy that it fell apart in civil war. All those fanzines! Best to leave that behind me, sigh ( ... )

Hmm, that sounds annoying. I suppose you could ask on blakes7 or something in case anyone knows anything about it?? (A lot of B7 fandom seems to have been loyally around since zines and the first showing and things. You never know.)

I don't mind you talking Avon to me! I'm not sure I've many intelligent thoughts, but ramble away, please do! And, I mean, you're not the only one who likes Avon! Not by a quite considerable mile... ;-)
