Fanvid: Smile on my Face

Aug 17, 2012 09:04

I have made a fanvid and I don't hate it! I made it for some of the random TV I've been watching lately, so it is obscure (but I don't care). Also, there is more dancing. Apparently this is a thing now and all my vids will have dancing in. Even if it's completely inappropriate...

You should *definitely* do "Henry VII must have ALL THE HUGS" - just because!

And this was amusing and sweet and lots of fun. I heartily approve!

Aw, thank you!

And, heh, the Henry VII thing was because when I did the first version, I had a clip of him each time the lyrics said "the need to embrace" - most of them are still in there, but it amused me at the time. :-)

Thank you! I kind of thought it was, but I'm glad other people think it's fun, even when they don't know many/all of the sources!

And, hey, welcome back, brave traveller! *salutes*

\o/ I'm glad you liked it! And, wow, you are sharp-eyed to spot Jacqueline Pearce aka Servalan. I couldn't quite fit a proper clip of her in at all.

It's the BBC Shakespeare Measure for Measure (1980) - she's playing Mariana.

Here, this went by on my Tumblr dashboard yesterday. It's beautiful and might constitute a reason to be on Tumblr in itself... :-)

Jacqueline Pearce really is, yes. (Although I am still impressed, because I've watched it again now, and I can only see her from the side, in the background in one clip - and I know she's there! :-D)

Ohmygosh, really good editing! Even though I know nothing about any of these shows, I had fun watching this vid, and laughed out loud at the puppets. :-D

Aw, thanks so much! :-) I made it for me, really, but I hoped the cheeriness might come across, despite the obscurity - glad to hear it did.
