Firstly, (and entirely unrelated) HAPPY BIRTHDAY to shinyjenni! I hope you have a lovely day!

I promised I'd also bring pics from Michael Keating's episode of Special Branch (1969). It was a relatively small role, in episode 4 "A Date With Leonidas" (in which the operation was mostly unsuccessful, but they did at least catch the culprit thanks to ( Read more... )

If only there was some way to download vids or fics from our brains straight onto our computers - it'd save so much time!

:-) Although most of the time the making-stuff bit is quite good, too. I would, however, definitely go for a magic way ripping DVDs onto my pc!! *waves wand*

Hee! I love this bit:

Even though they are both pretty cheerful and lovable, and have their own tea and sandwiches, he is not best pleased.

But they're cheerful and lovable and brought supplies! And Michael Keating will let your daughter sit on his knee while watching Pinky and Perky. She really is too old to be watching that, let alone sitting on a man's knee to do so! How old was she supposed to be?

I thought I recognised Damien Thomas in that close up. He played Kassim in one of the Sinbad films. Oddly enough, he also popped up in Blake's 7 later. :oD

I think (although it's hard to tell) that she is supposed to be about 11/12, but looks as though the actor's at least 13/14/15. And, yes!! Heh. The past is another country, as they say! (Now he'd at least have to have an extended CRB check first.) The two constables seem to like Pinky and Perky quite a bit as well, so maybe everyone in 1969 watched it regardless of age. In between smoking...

Aha, I thought he looked a bit familiar - I'll have to go and see who he was in B7 now. :-)

Hope you had a great day!

Heh, yes, I bought the series for other reasons, but it turned out to have Paul Darrow in ep2 and Michael Keating in ep4! :-)

Awwww, he's adorable! Thank you! He really looks like Vila in one grumpy shot but he's a lot happier than our boy. Awww, look at him with his thermos and sarnies! And I'd sit on his knee.

Yes, well, nobody's asking him to be in a revolution, I suppose! Just to sit on the settee, guard the inspector and watch Pinky and Perky with the teenage daughter... Heh.
