{sporfle!!!!!}

Mary-Lou would never ever admit she knew what 'it' was, so the Aliens are up the creek there anyway :) And I want to read her fanfic.

Oh god, this meme is never ever EVER not fun...

I can't believe you know the Chalet School as well. :-D And, no, Mary-lou would not. That was definitely one of the qs that made me grin the most.

Yes, although, I really don't see her as the fanfic type. She'd be more the one to just go out and actually do the adventuring. Maybe Verity could write fanfic...

Oh yes, I'm a big fan of the old girls' school stories - Brent-Dyer (we have pretty much all the paperbacks, though some are pretty decrepit), Oxenham, Dorita Fairlie Bruce and quite a few others, some of them... endearingly bad :)

And I love the idea of Verity being a closet fanfic writer. Slash yet...

Yes, Verity writing fanfic does have a strange appeal. Quietly, while no one was else was looking, and saying, "Oh, it's just Verity mooning again..." Um.

Yes, I have all but 2 of the pbks (& my best friend gave me one of the hbks as a present, so I can see they really did take bits out of some of the versions I have!). I read the Dimsie books years ago, although never the Abbey girls (although the librarian back then had read them, does that count?). The Chalet School ones just always had a kind of addictive quality & I collected them & fall back on them when life is at its worst. :-)

Loved Leela's fanfic reviews. She should do it more often.

And Vicki as a Dark Lord, come to that. As for what Venger could do about it, surely this is one of those situations where the regular villain has to team up with the heroes to restore the status quo?

Yes. True. However, with Venger looking like a teenaged girl, he'd fit in too well and... I think Dungeon Master would just have to sort out swapping them back once they both settled into their new roles too well. :-)

It's a pity I can't draw, because there ought to be fanart of Venger as played by Maureen O'Brien. Best I can do is trace publicity shots.

Leela truly should read and review fanfic!

It's tempting, isn't it? I think creating a second Teaspoon account for the purpose would count as trolling, though.

I thoroughly enjoy your answers even when I'm not familiar with the character in question, they're such delightfully cracky ruminations. No wonder One didn't have K-9 in his entourage, he hasn't any ankles. :-D

Another vote here for Leela's reviews - still laughing over that one!

Aw, thank you. I could tell where your thoughts were going with the ankle-twisting, but K9 just can't oblige. :-)

Leela would be a fearsome reviewer.

Ahahahaha, I love Leela's fic reviews! “If you write any more slander I shall cut off your hand and then you will not do it again.” No, you would not.

Also, Crews's not-date is spot-on what Crews would do in that situation! Especially the car-driving. :D

Well, unless you were ambidextrous and a really dedicated shipper...

Yes, he and Tom would so bond over the cars (Tom's hobby is antique vehicles from the 20th C. He would have a ball in a genuine 20th C car with bullet holes all over it.) And, tahnks. :-)
