Damn straight she is! Fred's the only Angel character I really liked from the outset. (Cordy, Wesley and Angel all annoyed the cr4p out of me at one stage or another!)

Oh, I love Fred, but I love Cordy, too. (She's definitely getting a day of this sometime.) Possibly even more so (although see my icon for what I think about certain story arcs. Argh argh argh.) I don't know whether it makes a difference in that I got into Angel and Buffy at the same time - and found that I preferred Angel (even though I think Buffy is better overall). I certainly prefer the Angel versions of the characters. (Angel hanging around being tragic in Buffy is annoying; Angel getting his brooding mocked/ sulking /getting turned into a muppet is not. :lol:) Mind, I definitely got fed up with Wesley being so angsty. Loved everyone, though, really - Gunn, Doyle, Lorne, Lilah, even Kate and Gwen and Darla. :-D

My brother had to talk me into watching Angel (mind you, he'd had to talk me into watching Buffy too, initially! LOL) because I disliked Angel, Cordy and Wesley so much!

Yes. I watched the video of Welcome to the Hellmouth/The Harvest, but other than that, I got into Buffy by watching the first half of S2 on video, also the first half of S1 of Angel, and then the second half of S4 on TV. (This was all we had to rent from the library!) I can't imagine now watching it in chronological order, and then moving onto Angel - I mean, Cordy, Wesley, and Angel? - :lol:. The way I did it, it all seemed to work. :-D I had seen Cordy and Angel, of course, but not Wesley by that point, so it was funny to see him in BUffy after. Mind, I kind of missed pretentious but hopeless Wesley by S3... (As opposed, to stubbly, I-keep-a-woman-locked-in-my-cupboard and steal babies Wesley, anyway...)

As Cordy and Fred are two of my favourite characters in anything, you can imagine how S5 broke my heart into little pieces. And then stamped on them. :-D

Yay Fred! I never got into Angel, but even in the few episodes I saw, she impressed me with how amazing she is. I think she's my favorite character on the show, followed by Lorne.

Lorne and Fred are just great! I loved Lorne and the demon karaoke stuff. I was so sad to hear about Andy Hallett a couple of years back, too. :-(

I like pretty much everyone else, too, but Fred is a one-off.
