So today theres a report out about how fishing will be impossible in 50 years time due to us having caused just about every type of fish population to have collapsed irrevocably.

This is so far right on the target for the predictions they've been making since the 80's when i first got interested in it (Scarborough is still a fishing town as well

Yeah I read that, its the same with our gas and oil supply’s, we know there running out but rather than conserve and convert to other source (more so than we are, bio fuels are not that big at the moment, the oil company’s that own the patent to the water powered car wont be releasing that unit oil is nearly expended thus making even more money etc...) we never learn until its too late and then we run around like fools trying to fix the unfixable
