Twycross Zoo & the dangers of mobility scooters

Danni and I went to Twycross Zoo yesterday and it was awesome, mostly because of the monkeys and Danni. I did however managed to get pwned by a little old lady on a mobility scooter! Yup, my Dad's sailing a yacht from Tenerife to the Bahamas in January and after thinking about it I'd rather like to go along. We're just sorting out the details but we're both pretty excited about it :) 3 weeks sailing with 1 week of contingency/drinking-in-the-bahamas.

the drapes are probably there for temperature regulation than anything else.

Anyway, those scooters are a menace. There was some old bloke shooting down the path the other day forcing everyone to leap out of his way.

Indeed, there was no way to see through those things so a little less throttle would have made a lot of sense.

Still as usual I've almost no bruises, just a small one on my arm from where the handlebars impacted my arm.

As for the scooter, I hope you tore it apart in a fit of rage and threw the little old lady to the crocs, before blaming it on one of the gorillas?
