So. Here I am. There has been some crazy shit going on here in RL, so I haven't really felt like posting anything, or doing anything. But then I totally forgot most people I talk to online are off reading the seventh HP book right now, so at least I haven't missed anything! A small comfort

Sorry you're feeling anxious about life. But there's nothing wrong with getting "settled in and organized". It's good forethought to put yourself in the place you want to be for when you're ready to have kids. Maybe there are just things you want to accomplish before kids make it a little more difficult to do so.

In the meantime, your blah solution: Get the book so you have something to do. And then read it fast so you can tell me what you think. I won't spoil you, but be careful because spoilers are already quite visible.

I've already been HP spoiled. It won't diminish my enjoyment though. I just have to get to Borders first.

I've been in Kendo now since the beginning of April and will test for promotion in a couple of weeks. It's a great art. I got to put on all of my armor, or bogu last month. I've been doing ji-geiko (free sparring) now for a week. It's a much quicker learning art than Aikido, which took me years to get to Ikkyu, or Brown Belt. In Kendo, I'm hoping to make Shodan (Black Belt) in a year.

The tough part is that the bogu is somewhat heavy, especially the helmet, or Men, and it gets hot quickly. I love the dojo though, it's like a family. And if you ever wanted to be a real Jedi, this is as close as it comes.

LOL. That is perhaps the funniest thing I have heard all summer. :D I plan on picking up TWTF again in a month or two, as soon as my Star Wars fic is finished. I only have two/three more chapters left on it, so getting close! As soon as I start updating TWTF again though, I'll let you know. ;)
