I haven't been here much lately, and there's a reason for it. Well of course there's a reason, there always is, right? Well, um, er, I've been immersed in the Word Press world trying to get another blog started. No, no, I'm not leaving LJ! Lorraine, I really look forward to that blog. I would love to do better about buying locally, I just don't have the time to research how to set it up so it's not this huge time thing. Like, I'm curious if there's an easy and efficient way to buy meat and eggs locally.

Because, although it's important, so is making a living to buy that food and helping with kids with homework and on and on.

Lisa, you can't imagine how much your response has buoyed me up! That's exactly what I'd like my blog to be--a place where busy people like you can find easily accessible local produce, meats, eggs, etc.. In my research, I've been simply amazed at our area's bounty and the wonderful farmers who are growing in a sustainable way.

I'll be there. Your blog is a great idea. I buy locally grown food at the Union Square Market. The apples are the best!
