I've spent some time in local cooking and crafting forums lately. It got me thinking about spells

I know just what you mean. I would love for there to be some way to have those sorts of discussions without worrying about people figuring that if it is ok to talk about crafting spells then it must be ok to beg those crafting such to make a spell for you ... or to spam all their favorite SRW spells all over an intelligent discussion ... now that I think about it, tho, it might even be fun to take silly fluffy spells and have a thread on dismantling and re-working them to be actual workable spells.

I definitely think that a private LJ comm would be a great idea. It could be really interesting and a lot of fun.
