The Left 4 Dead demo was released today, and wow, is it ever intense.

 I ran through Fallout3 again, just to see how long it took me to complete the main quest alone (ignoring all sidequests, just the main storyline).

End result: 3 hours 50 minutes.

Also, 41 minutes of that was the UNSKIPPABLE introductory/tutorial sequence. Yes, let me repeat that, you have an UNSKIPPABLE 40 minutes of boredom that you have to repeat ( Read more... )

 I spent the afternoon over at Chris's place, having a couple of games of Inquistor (a spin-off of Warhammer 40K, that instead of each player controlling large armies, they just control a small handful of units - we had one each in the first game, and two each in the second. Four players.)
