It seems I have a new roommate named Lowen. I haven't met him yet, but I look forward to our encounter. I suppose there's no point in dwelling in the past, and this change just confirms it. Ah, speaking of change, I should probably clean up the room before he arrives and sees this mess.

It looks like this year I'll be sharing a dorm with a senior named Ike. Speaking from first impressions, he's not so bad. He's surprisingly considerate and polite. But I keep catching him staring at my hair. Does it bother him that my hair is red? He also plays the guitar, which is pretty neat considering I can't play any instrument at all.

 I know that the first day is always hectic, but this school has exceeded my expectations far and away. I suppose I'm not used to being around this many people who are around my age (and some who resemble strange animals at that!).
