And good for you haven't let yourself become distracted from your goals/responsiblities. It's a hard thing to do, especially when young and living on your own. Heck, I totally failed at it. You should be proud of yourself.

Aw, that's sweet about Ryan. My ex and I used to always say to each other "I love you", but I never really thought about if I did. The very first time it must have been strange, but I don't recall it at all. Actually it just became such a mundane, kind of habit really, once we broke up I accidentally kept saying it to him and he had to remind me that we don't love each other anymore. Anyway, I just don't remember thinking about it in the way that you are, that's a good thing though, from your point of view, I mean for it to have any significance. That didn't entirely make sense.
