Ok, so last night someone was not up for my company,

Everyone, by "someone" he means The Em. Like it's my fault, or something. ;P

It was the simplest character creation of all time. All you do is decide what you want your character to do, and his/her quirks, and this determines their stats.

That is incentive for me to play-it's easy. If you keep enjoying it and like that group, I might, might be interested in joining you. It sounds like it could be fun.

I'm going to play a character who is a copy of Sanzo from Saiyuki (sorry if I misspelled it, plz don't be an ass when correcting as it will piss me off!)

Spelled 100% correctly, my dear. And if you want the full name, he is Genjyo Sanzo.

You need to use lj regularly to necessitate purchasing a paid account.

You might want to look into the sponsored+ level. Basically you get paid account benefits (ones you care about), but have to put up with an ad on your journal. Oh, and it's FREE.
