Baby cooperated and got to hear the amazing heartbeat today. Dr said it was around 160. Sooo much relief. Obviously nothing's certain until the baby is here, but it's one more milestone that we have hit. :)

Tomorrow is my 12 week appointment. My dr said we should be able to hear the heartbeat on the Doppler. I am really really hoping this is the case otherwise I am going to be even more of a nervous wreck ( Read more... )

Why is it that we live in a society with so much instant gratification but it feels like we are always waiting for something? Waiting for Christmas, waiting for spring, waiting for snow to melt. Last week I had the opportunity go go and volunteer with Extreme Makeover Home Edition. You know...that little show on ABC that a family in need gets this amazing new house all thanks to a bunch of volunteers.
