I enjoyed (tough breaks, Lyssa- also, since sometimes coincidentally and sometimes purposely it seems like Four and Nine ended up so often out to get each other in my stuff I sort of chuckled/sighed here ) and am enjoying Four's tributes here! Artemisia knew just how to work Luca...I'll be waiting with everyone else to see what each of them does next! Like always, I enjoy seeing Lyme and Brutus work together. They're a good team, and here where Lyme is new to things there's sort of a different flavor to it. But I also love the stuff with Brutus and Phillips.

Also, Mags :D

Callista and my Jeymes Grim from Eight might've enjoyed hitting the Capitol together. ^^; Maybe she could have impressed the idea of a little more discretion on him?! (he might have taken 'don't go killing people' better from someone else who wanted to kill people than from Woof and Pal?! >_>)

I noticed I usually have something vaguely awful happen to Four Girl, or she dies offscreen and/or before the showdown. Claudius' Games had her being pushed into a river of fire, Petra's had her killed in a trap by the Sevens ... and now this one has her taken out by an enterprising girl from Nine

I've noticed that too, but I appreciated in Petra's that you'd set me up with something easy to work with for Song, ha ha ^^; That fic was speeded along by choosing three scenarios where I already had the death of her tribute in mind.

I think that more or less sounds like my feeling about the Fours? The less disingenuous point especially. (which could be a leaning of Mags' personal preferences in part- she liked tributes who behaved this way and was more likely to suggest them as the volunteers? and/also Mags' self-presentation gave the Capitol an expectation or preference for natural(-istic) behavior from the Fours and Four decided to stick with/pursue that angle?)I'm not sure how much anyone is cautioning the Fours against any of the more psychological/emotional ploys of the other tributes (which could explain why Song would have been a lot more bothered over the stuff with the Nine boy than a One or Two would have been), it's more centered on how 'you the tribute' should behave. It could be neglected because the victors in

I love all this Games backstory and Artemisia is awesome and baby Lyme and Brutus....

Also the Mags moment was gold.

Oh man, Luca. Lyssa. THE ONES. Everything!

I'm interested in Dexter based on the glimpses we got of him in other stories -- he's Cashmere's and Gloss' mentor in the Quarter Quell but he seems fairly -- sedate? Yet still mad enough for Callista to take out and man, he's not exactly the calmest either after forced prostitution and everything.

Just curious -- why Lyssa? Was that a A Song of Ice and Fire reference, because it seems different than a lot of District Four names and I'm interested.
