Oh, yeah, this is great! I'm happy to really get to know Artemisia! (and a bit of a closer look at Callista here too)

BABIES!!!! I love new mentor Lyme trying to figure it all out. And man, if Callista has never had a Victor and Lyme pulls one her first year (after Brutus pulled one his first year) that's got to sting.

I LOVE BABY LYME.

Yeah, Callista mentored as many times as she was possibly allowed in the 50s and lost every time (I think it was like ... 6 tributes?) and after 59 she basically retired, coming back once a decade to try again before deciding fuck this. She had her name in for the 75th as her final attempt before giving up for good, but then ... well, life happened.

Oh man, that just makes it worse.

Mentoring kids who die over and over has to be one of the worst things about being a Victor. Especially in Two where YOU PICKED THEM and it's...not your fault at all but it's got to kind of feel that way.

CALLISTA. Oh man, just the whole regal matriarch thing she's got going on and grabbing knives out of her hair to put in the updo - oh man oh man oh man. And Nero/Lyme/Artemisia parallels. I'M RUBBING MY HANDS IN GLEE TO SEE WHAT NERO WOULD THINK OF ARTEMISIA.

I didn't know how else to talk other than comment bombing but: I'm interested in your vision for D2 because I'm trying to do a district switch version where Peeta and Katniss were D2, always, so I'm glad there's more background!
