Awesome. :) Those are some seriously nice headphones. I've been looking at replacing mine with some better noise-cancelling ones but will probably only be looking around the $125-$150 range.

Oh! Forgot to relay earlier: the Hifiman HE-400 headphones came in. Still developing my listening impression of them, but I think you'd like. :) Different use, though, being open-back.

Open back are nice. The Sennheisers are like the fourth or fifth set of headphones I have in the house.

Kind of a fun meme fo' sho!

I grew up, mostly, in Huntington Beach. My first con experience was either a Trek con in LA (at the Hilton near LAX, near the giant Live Nudes sign) or San Diego Comicon, both I first went to in '88 or '89. Kind of a blur to me these days. I think my favorite con from my early con-hopping career was the 'skunk fucker' year at BayCon when I was there with the old ConFurence crew pimping CF4 or 5. Like I said, kind of a blur.

I'd almost be afraid of the seven things people would ask me to babble about, I could write for hours.
