Because I asked nicodemusrat to pick seven things for me to talk about.

Here you go.

1. Monochrome Fur Markings

I'm a skunk, what can I say? I didn't start as a skunk, as most furries do, I was a default fox for about six months and then a coyote for a short period. I picked skunk after a suggestion from someone else when he noticed my dear love for Pepe Le Pew and all things skunky and it's been a fun ride sense then. Things have changed though, I picked skunk because I like skunks, but it has become more of a philosophy and way of being. Skunks are the masters of black and white, and part of what I believe is based on Tao.

Plus, skunks have awesome tails.

2. Headphones

Here is something I believe in, which I find quite strange. If you have just plucked down over $200 for your MP3 or phone of choice, why are you using such cheap headphones to listen to it with? Do yourself a favor and spend some cash on getting yourself some serious headphones. You'll really notice a difference if you do the research. I am currently rocking out with some PXC 450 - Sennheiser. Plus, a good set of headphones will last you years if you take care of them. If you really want a good experience, also get yourself a pre-amp for said headphones. Fiio is a good place to start.

3. First Con Experience

I might have said this before, but I go so far back in this fandom that I ran into at another con. I have always been a comic book nerd and I always will be. I still pick up graphics novels every now and then to this day ( Read Planetary kids). My friend at the time asked me to go to San Digeo Comic Con one year and I went and it was amazing. At the time, it was only 45,000 people, so it was rather small compared to today's attendance of over 200,000. Well, Confurence used to buy a table and it was the table I ran into when I got there. Terrie Smith and Michelle Light where there selling furry art. Well, let's just say that was an awaking for me. There was a flyer for Confurence 7, which was Janurary 12, 1996, and once I got home I did a lot of web searching, which at the time was Lycos on Mosaic. I even learned some basic UNIX commands so I could read newsgroups. I went to CF7 by myself without knowing anyone and it was wild.

4. Woods

Woods? Like in the outdoors?
I would love to have a house where the backyard is a big forest. Something that you could walk about a half a mile into just to get away from things. I would build a little Japanese style mediation room there, someplace I could go, sit and just listen to the universe or some tunes.

5. Hometown

I am not going to give away my hometown in a LiveJournal post. Let us just say that it near Pasadena. I come from Southern California and was raised a Los Angeles boy and grew up in the area. I have lots of fond memories of the area and it certainly has changed sense I was a kid.

6. Artistry

I've been trying to get better at drawing. I found a couple of nice series of videos that I have been watching that are quite good at showing you anatomy. I try to spend about a half hour every day drawing something if I can. Right now, it's a bit hard because I am trying to finish up my demo reel between two pieces of 3d software. I'm also been learning a lot of Blender, it's up to version 2.6 now and the new render engine is quite impressive. I am currently building Cobber, a roo character of mine. Posted a turn around here.

7. Fursuits

I love me some fursuits. I have a couple of them myself if you didn't already know that. I tried to get into building fursuits, but I found that I couldn't really do as good as a job as I wanted too. I can make ears and tails pretty good and I can make a body suit in a weekend if I wanted too and that's fine with me really. I really do admire the skill level that people have now a days. Use to be only like three or four fursuit builders. Now a days, there's enough of them now that some of them make a living doing it. Never thought I would see that.
