I'm afraid any euphoria over exams being over was short lived. I can't believe what has happened to our school, yet again.

I for one, feel a bit nervous about the OWLs. I think I should do alright. I mean, I usually do well on tests. I've been studying a lot lately. I even put off my endeavours to walk through walls. I just don't get it. I've tried the spell over and over again, and I just can't seem to walk through the walls. My right shoe is missing. Has anyone seen it? Hoenstly, it's like the third time in a month that its gone missing. It always ends up in some odd place, that I'm sure I didn't leave it in. I didn't know her well. I didn't really know her at all. Still, the loss is very sad.

I find myself retreating, more and more, into my studies. Sometimes, only putting it aside to read the Quibbler. I really don't know what else to do.
