You do realize that the only people following my Twitter are you, Becca, and Carrie- I think we can assume you've all been informed- and Alice, who is probably more worried about the riots tearing her country apart than some tiny American band's stolen gear.

Dude, the England riots thing sucks. Shit's crazy today. A guy got shot in the head a block away from Krys and I earlier this evening down by the river. Like, literally exactly when we were there, on the State Street bridge parallel with the Michigan Ave bridge we were crossing. Some dude walked up behind another dude and shot him in the head.

I hate hearing about bands getting their gear stolen. There's only so much you can do as a fan across the country, but I know how absolutely devastating it would be. UGH.

I'm really impressed by him atm, honestly. He responded to my tweet so freaking quick, it was great. Now I'm just waiting for Nic to get back from wherever he is and see that Gabe involved himself and like, idk. Track it back to me and brutally murder me in an alley? Though that'd be kinda cool, because if I survived (I wouldn't), we could hang out.

And yeah, that's why it's so great that most of this is happening via Twitter, Craigslist, and eBay. So far it's all nation-wide accessible.

Man, that sucks. D: I up-channeled this post to copperbadge, he does a weekly post on Mondays that's like a good-cause-newsletter-type-thing. I know that's a bit far off timewise, but he's one of the biggest signal-boosters I know of on LJ, so it may still help out.

Oh dude, awesome! No, that's great. I haven't heard what condition the van/trailer were in, but I have a feeling the stuff won't be recovered by then, so. Yay! Thank you!!

I also managed to get the FBR street team coordinator in on RT'ing and spreading the word, so I'm pretty stoked about that, but. Fucking. GABE SAPORTA HAHAHAH WHAT EVEN. And John Darnielle, who is the biggest sweetheart EVER, and I got a ton of RT's off the Mountain Goats' followers, which was pretty great.
