So yeah, given that barely anyone uses LJ anymore I've reinvented mine.
I've decided to use it as a more personal tool & not as a social-discussion forum as it was back in the day.

To this end I've removed all bar a handful of people off my friends list, but don't worry I don't think anyone will be missing out on anything interesting.

Well guys hope you enjoy your xmas/NYE break- I'll miss you all for the duration.

Flying out tomorrow, returning on the 9th Jan or thereabouts

Will attempt to get my Facebook thingy working so I can post some pics- even if I can't work Kim's camera my mates have always been more the photo-taking types anyway so can yoink off them.

Well this feels strange

When I woke up I could have sworn the clock said 10:30- I figured I must have slept in and rushed to work
Get here and the place is empty- check the time again and it's 7:30

Guess that explains the grogginess and bleary eyes though.

Brisbane till 25th, Jindabyne till 30th and then home till the 8th when I leave for Indonesia- should be back within 2 weeks unless the work goes horribly badly.
