"It's a community service," says Nate.
"It's a disaster waiting to happen is what it is," says Sophie.
"Parker likes foster kids. She relates to them."
"Parker thinks Halloween is a tactical operation."
In the corner, Parker is indeed briefing her children on how to maximize their candy. It seems to involve one kid creating a diversion while the others go in and steal the candy reserves from inside the house.
"She's--teaching them life skills," says Nate carefully.
"Hardison has a working lightsaber, Nate," says Sophie. "You can not honestly tell me this is safe."
"He's not gonna hurt any of the kids with him," Nate hedges. "And look how excited they are! Most of these kids have never gone trick-or-treating. It's good we volunteered."
"We're teaching them to be criminals.
"You're a criminal. You like being a criminal," Nate points out.
"Well, yes, but--" she stops. "I guess as long as we're teaching them to be good criminals ( ... )
