I'm terrible, I know, but...'Not in Front of the Kids' 'verse, Halloween? If no, I would love 'Trinidad & Tobago', 4th of July, on the set of their movie.

"Jared has to come," Lily insists.

Jensen raises his eyebrows at her. "Yeah? Why's that?"

Lily rolls her eyes. "Because he's fun. And big. I bet he can carry tons of candy."

Jared makes a muscle. "I so can."

"Candy weighs nothing, you freak," says Jensen.

"Clearly you have never taken anyone out for Halloween."

"Well, no," Jensen admits. "I mean, not since I was a kid."

"Jared knows," says Lily sagely. "You need his help!"

"You do," says Jared. "I bet you don't even have a costume yet."

"I'm not wearing a costume."

"Yes, you are," says Jared.

"Duh," says Lily. "I think he should be a princess."

"No," says Jensen.

"But I'm going to be a prince!" says Jared.

"And I'm gonna be a dragon," says Lily.

"So you're pretty much stuck."

Jensen glares at Jared. Jared shrugs remorselessly.

"This is what you get for skipping the planning meeting," says Jared.

"It'll be fun!" says Lily.

"Bah humbug."

Jared kisses him on the cheek. "That's Christmas."

"Whatever."

Thank you so much! I love how they gang up on Jensen, so funny and devious. Jensen is a princess!

It's just so much easier for Jensen to have fun this way. He never has to worry that they'll do things his way and it won't be any good, because they never do end up doing things his way. His job is to announce that he's going to be as boring as possible and then give in ungraciously to whatever they want. It's really very clever, except he's probably not doing it on purpose.

Utterly charming and human.
