Any continuation of the Love actually is all around fic.

"So," says Jeff, "Jared."

"I'm Jensen, actually," says Jensen. "Did you want me to get Jared?"

"Yes, Jensen. That's exactly what I want."

Jensen goes to leave, but then Jeff makes an indignant noise.

"What?" says Jensen.

"Jensen. How long have you been working here?"

"A year. And change."

"And how long have you been in love with Jared?"

Jensen chokes. "I'm not--what?"

"Can we just skip over the denial and the protesting and accept that everyone knows you're in love with Jared?"

Jensen glares at him, but he can't keep it up for long. "Everyone?"

"There are pools on how long it's going to take one of you to make a move."

"Wait, like--he might make a move? You think he likes me?"

Jeff sighs. "Jesus Christ, deliver me from dumbasses. Yes, he likes you. So get off your ass and do something, you fucking loser."

"I think it's abuse to talk to an employee like that."

"It'll be abuse when I kick your ass if you haven't fucked Jared Padalecki by New Year's."

This is the story from the movie that just broke my heart. I am imagining a much happier ending for the boys.

He isn't sure how they end up in the car together, but Jared kisses him in the back of their taxi--long, slow, melting kisses, like Jared wants to learn every part of his mouth--so it's hard for him to really think or worry. It's been a while, but he wants this, feels it down to his fingertips, tingling all over with how happy he is, how amazing it is to finally get Jared, warm and willing in the back seat of a taxi, going back to his place.

The elated joy lasts all through the ride, as they go upstairs, laughing against each other's lips when they can't stay apart for more than a few seconds, all the way into Jensen's bedroom when he gets Jared's shirt off, exposing lean muscle and smooth skin.

And then his phone rings.

Jensen's phone has rung at a number of inopportune times, and he always feels terrible about it, and he flushes and apologizes and feels shitty, but he's never wanted to hurl it away from himself violently before now. He's never thought maybe I can just not get it. Because he can't

By the time he hangs up, he figures Jared is gone--he left the room halfway through the call--but when he goes downstairs, Jared's sitting at his kitchen table with a mug of the tea Jensen's mom sent him before she died

This made me cry. Always the most heartbreaking storyline for me, and augh. Jared<333

This story always breaks my heart in the movie, and I so wish they could have had a better ending.
