"This is bubbly," he says, grinning at Jared. He's wearing a New Year hat Chad put on him after about half a bottle, and it's crooked and falling off a little. "I bet I could find an equation for how many bubbles are ideal."
He makes to get off the couch like he's going to do that right this minute, and Jared snorts and grabs his sleeve and pulls him back down. He ends up kind of sprawled over Jared, which is nice. "No math for you," says Jared. "It's New Years. No math, just fun."
"Math is fun," says Jensen, but he cuddles in close to Jared happily, practically purring. "You're snuggly," he declares.
Jared snorts. "You're wasted."
"I think my brain is performing on nearly normal levels."
"Yeah, you sound really normal right now."
"I like champagne."
"I can tell."
