Jensen, of course, sees right through him. "What do you want?"

"I know this was supposed to be our first Christmas at home just the two of us," he says. "But, uh--it turns out Chad doesn't have anywhere to go."

Jensen blinks at him, like this was the last thing he ever expected. "How?"

"His parents booked a cruise, I guess, and his siblings are doing their own things, and since he's single right now--"

"He's just gonna sit alone on Christmas and watch porn."

"Chances are good," Jared agrees. "He didn't ask to come, but--we haven't seen him in a while, and I know he's, well, Chad, but no one should be alone at Christmas
