Part Three - The Plan

OOC: Follows Part Two - ConferringThe Doctor had asked for a time when she wasn't about the mansion, and Elizabeth knew that happened only when there were official ceremonies and such that would require her presence. She told him about the small church there, too, and before she knew it, it was last Sunday ( Read more... )

The Doctor scrunched up his face, clearly wrestling between the needs of the moment and how he'd have preferred things to be. It was a common situation for him, and almost never did things go as nice and easy as he hoped. This was not going to be an exception, he could feel it.

"Normally, no. I'd have told you to stay here with the TARDIS and I'd try to find the necklace, so as not to risk you crossing your own timeline and doing something nasty to your personal history." The Doctor sighed. "Unfortunately, a strange man rummaging through the knicker drawer of the governor's daughter would be more than a little suspicious. So... yes."

"Yes? That's it, then? Yes? That's the plan?" Elizabeth nodded and refrained from saying anything else for about two seconds ( ... )

The Doctor stared at the closing door of the TARDIS as Elizabeth exited the craft on her mission.

"Well," he said, sticking his hands in his pockets and addressing the empty inside of the place, "this is a new wrinkle, eh?"

"Doctor?"

Elizabeth knocked on the door of the TARDIS, but there was no answer. Clearly, he had not listened to her and now she was trapped in a time where another version of herself was walking about while she held one medallion that supposedly would end the world, with the other version of it 'round her neck.

Pirates were bad enough, but apparently doctors were quite as exciting stubborn.

"I've got to find him," she mumbled to herself before the panic truly set in. Where would he have gone? Surely not to the mansion, or she would have crossed his path.

She recalled his strange dress and behaviour. There was one other person in Port Royal at the moment who she could say the same thing about.

When Elizabeth entered the jail cell, she found Captain Jack Sparrow talking with The Doctor.
