Yeah, but A&E also just canceled The Glades, which I also enjoyed. And to make it worse, they canceled The Glades on a huge cliffhanger!!! I'm so pissed at A&E right now I may just boycott the damned channel.

I didn't watch The Glades, but I did catch the last minute or two of the last episode, so I know what a huge cliffhanger that was. Being a sci-fi fan, I've seen many a show end on a season finale cliffhanger never to resolve. I'm sorry you guys got stuck with that! Very unfair. They should at least give you a movie to finish it up.

On the brighter side, I really hope they get the details for Longmire worked out and a third season occurs. Until it's official, I'm still uncomfortable. Maybe I'm pessimistic, but a series I used to love got an early renewal so they ended the season on a cliffhanger and then the management companies couldn't agree on syndication rights and the whole thing got canceled. Cautiously optimistic at this point?

I'm okay with ten episodes. I think the show may have suffered from 13 because they didn't seem to be able to stretch stories out long enough.

Has there been an actual confirmation on renewal from A&E? I'm still not convinced until the network announces it.
