Never in my wildest dreams did it occur to me that someone might be making audio files out of fanfic. I can't begin to describe how ecstatic I am about this. I hadn't read Drop Dead Gorgeous yet (having only just started reading HP fanfic quite recently) and I was still busy being gobsmacked over amazingness of that fic, and then I tripped over a link to your audio version.
I'm practically incoherent with joy. The only things that will make me more joyful are new installments. Soon, please.
And I've decided that when I win the lottery, which is scheduled for any day now, I'd be pleased to build you a recording studio. Well, probably more of a recording booth, but with all kinds of interesting equipment and lackies to set levels and such.
Seriously though, you've done an excellent job so far and I look forward to hearing more.
Wow - I'm glad you like it so much! You should definitely read DDG as well as listen to it, Sarah's really a wonderful writer. Shoebox is also a classic, so you've picked the right ones to start with! If you have anything of Sarah's in particular (or a favourite part of Shoebox) let me know and I'll get on it, I'm glad to be doing this.
I've just returned from foreign climes, and I'll have plenty of time (before the teachers realise just how far behind the curriculum they are), so new installments should be coming by the beginning of next week. HOPEFULLY. I may have homework I'm conveniently not remembering to do :)
Thanks so much for the comment and the enjoyment, and the promise of a studio; I hope you realise I'm going to hold you to that :) What I've got now is craptastic - I'm planning on buying myself a nice mic once I find out what a nice mic actually is. Hope you're enjoying the new year! -colline
Oh, I have indeed read DDG. Then I listened to your audio version, then I read it again. I may have some slight obsessive-compulsive tendencies. If I would stop with all the re-reading, I might have time to read a greater number of different things, but when I find a fic I like, I need to spend some time with it; the stuff I like tends to be layered, and repays close examination, which is certainly true of Sarah's fiction

Well I've finished DDG6, so it will be up tomorrow or the next day, depending on the number of errors I find on the bus ride to the fast internet :) I'll most likely be doing the Way We Get By almost exclusively after that since I'm avoiding having to do the Banshee's voice in DDG7 (I swear she wrote that just to harass me. "Let's see that audio lady do this! Muahahaha, I love being evil," I picture her saying). I love Quality of Mercy - it's what introduced me to Sarah in the first place - so that will certainly come in the future, but I don't want to be swallowed. What you said, about eating and such. Also universities might reject me if I fall asleep in class (somehow, they would KNOW

...shhhhh... it's the song I'm using in the next one ;) It's on the same CD as the song I used for the most recent DDG chapter, and I love it too. But I think I might save it for the fourth part, because of the lyric "we get high in backseats of cars". Have not yet decided. But thanks for the link, I love that song too! -c
Oh, the midterm. How horrid. I'm doing finals, and it's not helping me one bit. I hope they go well!
Heheheheee! I'm listening to this again (oh the joys of cleaning. But it is made better by this!) and I love it still and lots *hugs you* Hope uni is treating you well!

Enjoy your cleaning! I finally did some (it only took me what, three months) - glad you're still enjoying it :) University is positively delightful, thank you.
