You could save duplication of effort if you just posted everything here instead of twitting. :D

Twitter is ideal for short updates, brief blips of information. I post to LJ when there's something more in-depth. Which these days, isn't all that often.

Nothing that can't be done by LJ and have the additional benefit of being able to follow threads which your Twitter client apparently doesn't as you are always asking me what my comments are referring to. :P

If you hate Twitter, then don't use it. I see it as filling a specific role, and that's how and why I use it. And I like it for what it does.
