Just finished watching "Donovan Doe" (1x15), which is almost certainly Forgotten's series finale. And... ( cut for huge spoilers for Forgotten 1x15. )

tv: forgotten, tv

hmm, sounds interesting, although I have no idea what the show is. I mean, I distantly remember hearing about Christian Slater playing a tv role (and I loved way back when in Broken Arrow). I've just stopped keeping up with him after hearing about his less than savory domestic abuse charges (ditto Charlie Sheen, drat).

Also, random comment #2: I hate cliffhangers serving as finales. *phhhbt* It's really, really unfair, because then they come out with those tv movie things and I always miss it >:\

*cheers for your recovery* it'll be okay, even if teevee is evil sometimes *\o/*

here, to help I will let you ooh and aww over my cute little fert, Sian....see? don't you feel better now? :D

Lol. Alrighty then. XD

Re: original comment, The Forgotten. And yeah, I don't "keep up with" Christian Slater myself; although my friend was quite the fan of My Own Worst Enemy, I never got around to watching that one.

To explain more coherently what happened, CS's character Alex has this missing daughter. This ep, they found some bones of a little girl who looked like her. Turned out to not be her. But they figure out who it was and track down her mother to tell her. And it was her who'd taken Alex's daughter. He freaking got his daughter back and it was so unexpectedly happy after all that angst that I did not know what to do with myself ( ... )

Never watched The Forgotten, although it sounds like it would have been interesting.

The series finale cliffhanger that annoyed me is Fastlane back in 2002 or so. I don't even remember what happened in the season finale, but I know it wasn't resolved. (I mostly remember the show for having Tiffany Thiessen's police lieutenant character kiss and develop something of a relationship with a female thief, and then a couple episodes later having their two main guy characters do the gay-undercover thing and arguing to get out of having to kiss each other. Which pissed me off because a) double standard for female and male homosexuality and b) it would have been hot.) So that's my ramble for the day on old-school undercover cop drama.
