Jaw Surgery Jitters

Yesterday was a great day! Brad and I found out that my new insurance company will cover my jaw surgery. But, rather than counting my blessings like I should, I now have a sense of impending doom. I watch surgeries and stuff on TV all the time. I look at gory pictures online all the time.

Those did me in, though. It's a whole teeth/mouth thing.

I hope that it goes really well for you and you have minimal pain from it.

And stop looking at the pictures. That can't be good for you.

I'm not squeamish either, but there's definitely something about this that got me. I thought that it was just the idea of it happening to me, but maybe you're on to something about it being a mouth thing. The only scary movie that ever really bothered me was "the Dentist".

Thanks, and I'm trying to ignore the morbid urge to look again. It is kind of interesting though.

I hate going to the dentist. I had to have my wisdom teeth removed when I was at Dyess, AFB in 2002 and it was one of the most traumatic experiences of my life. I really think I will never see that movie you mentioned. Yikes!

I think I could probably handle reading about it. It's the pictures that got me, especially on the second link.

I know, but I've just never had surgery before, and this is pretty heavy-duty for a first-timer.

I've had around 23 surgeries I still get the jitters actually scared beepless is a better word for it

Praise God indeed! I'd like to have it that soon, but work has been so crazy. I probably won't be able to do it until mid to late summer. I think I'm supposed to be out for two whole weeks.

Anyway, I have lots to talk to you about. I'm gonna try and call you again this afternoon. Love you!
