Unordered listmania

...or, upping the boringness ante.

So we moved, and Jeremy's not in a coma any more, and stuff, but last night something interesting enough to write about finally happened: clothes shopping!

Wait, stop, don't go! It's exciting because...

No, you can leave. It's not exciting. At all. )

What is really amazing about all this is that I BOUGHT CLOTHES OF MY OWN FREE WILL. Lots of clothes! It seemed like lots, anyway!
I actually understand your excitement. I don't go out and buy clothes either. The only time I buy clothes is when I'm with my parents and they're buying me clothes. Which happens so often I feel like buying my own clothes would be a waste of money. Well, I buy T-shirts online, of course, but that's different. And I did buy this one pair of jeans for really cheap and I was proud of myself.

I don't even buy T-shirts online. My mother-in-law buys them for me. :P

I'm glad I'm not the only adult bemused by buying-of-clothing though!

Target is pretty much the only place I enjoy shopping for clothes. And when I say "enjoy" I mean that I don't want to shoot myself after five minutes.

And I still have plenty of shirts from when I was ten, and I would totally wear them out of the house if they weren't falling apart and full of holes.

You! I haven't talked to you in like ten million years! How are you? Can we get together sometime? I'm living in Greensboro now...

I know! Yes, we need to get together. Let's actually set a time/date and do this!

Are you free at all next week? Maybe Tuesday or Wednesday?

My weekdays are pretty booked, but evenings (after 5:30 or so, which is when even the longest boringest staff meeting has dragged to a close) are generally free. Unfortunately, Jeremy's in the hospital again, but hopefully he'll be out by next week (not that I'm inviting him along, just that I tend to hover around him a bit when he's inpatient) and we can hang out. You'd be welcome to come over to our place if you don't mind a few still-unpacked boxes lying around, or we could have dinner out, or whatever works for you, really. :)

I agree! Clearly, since practically my entire wardrobe is black and white.

Ha, I understand the excitement too, although at this point I think my wardrobe is entirely free of the ill-fitting garage-sale stuff I wore until college.

I don't think mine will be until that stuff actually crumbles into dust!

I'm still here, but enraged you keep me waiting months for this. Also, that you dare to call me a spartan because John gives me his coats when he is bored of them. Coats are fucking expensive.

You sound like you dress like you knew you were going to be a teacher your entire life. I think natalie dressed like she was going to be a hot authoritative doctor her whole life. I know that kira dressed like she was one of her own mental acid paintings her entire life, or at least since 11, heh.

Did I tell you I'm a gardener?

*ducks flying objects*

I think it's more that I put off accumulating a wardrobe until I knew what I was going to be (and thus what sort of clothes would be suitable), really. I used to want to be a ballerina nurse, which does account for a lot of my wardrobe as a child.

But though I may not have known what I was going to be, by crikey I always knew you were meant to be a gardener. My psychicness is so totally beyond dispute now.

Aye, you are. Asking at the job centre if they had any gardening jobs for about the last two months had nothing to do with it.
