Wow, beautifully written, sharp and vivid and heart breaking. Poor Gabriel. Glad Sam got to see a bit more about him, to get him a bit better and what he's been through.

The fledgling bit has me guessing and theorizing. Won't type any of my theories but shall say eagerly looking forward to more. Thanks for posting this. Great as always.

I figured Gabe already knows so much about Sam, that maybe it should be a bit more of a two-way street :-D and thanks for the huge compliment on the writing! My awesome beta helped a lot with that, and had to put up with re-editing every time I changed bits, so the compliment probably belongs more to her *grins*

Well a really interesting chapter, I like your take on why Gabriel left heaven and now I get to hate Michael just a little bit more.

I am curious about this little fledgling of Gabriel's, I wonder if it's who I think it is. Got to wait and see =)

Thanks! *grins* Glad you're liking it :-D I can't make my mind up about Michael personally - I hate him in this bit, but I feel sorry for him from the last bit, so I can't make up my mind if he's really the bad guy, or a good guy who got screwed over too much and decided to share the misery...
