***I came across this set of interviews with Rhett last night. It's worth investing the 30 minutes or so if you're a big fan; he has a lot of interesting things to say and previews bits of some of the new songs

dude I didn't know until the end of the day about Comrie and I was like OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG.
also Troy had better stay healthy this year. (I was gonna call him affectionately "that bitch Troy" but for some reason, I can't do that to him. I don't think he would ~approve~ lol)
Troy inspires us all to be better people. But you're right, he wouldn't get mad, he would just disapprove and then you'd feel guilty. haha. That's why I love him.
(And my fantasy league just auto-drafted and I got the Steeler defense! So excited Troy is on my team in real life AND in fantasy!)
(wooooo that's awesome! I always thought fantasy leagues were super silly when people were rooting for players their team is playing. at least you don't have to root against our D!)
Oh, luckily I don't care at all about winning in fantasy, so if one of "my" players is playing the Steelers any particular week, I do NOT root for them.
I enjoy it more for the general entertainment factor: it gets me invested in games that otherwise mean nothing to me every weekend, because I usually have at least one guy to cheer for.
Nah, I just make the simplest possible recipes. For instance, my chili "recipe" is basically: 1 lb ground beef, 2 cans of beans, 1 can of tomatoes, 1 can of corn, 1 chopped onion, packet of taco seasoning. In the crockpot for 4 hours.
when i saw rhett in new york we spent SO LONG talking about how young he looks for his age. my friends could not believe when i told them he was almost 40. he played several of the new songs but they didn't really work very well solo. i need to hear the full band versions. also, i can't remember any specifics but there were a couple times where after he sang a line we all groaned about how bad it was.
