Lessons from Mad Men

I've been realising more and more recently that most of my guidelines for navigating both the workplace and life-with-responsibilities-in-general have come from Mad Men.

It may be set in the 1960s, but apparently that doesn't really matter.

I've been collecting image stills from the show to illustrate my lessons.

Definitely a show I cannot wait to see each week - actually the only one I'd go to the bother of streaming just to keep up with it.

Mad Men is my fashion inspiration. For reals.

Yes! I possibly did not truly appreciate fashion until Mad Men, though I could be exaggerating. But I definitely pay more attention to the clothes than I usually do in other shows.

I'm pretty sure you could write some kind of business-management book based on Mad Men. It'd be great - people wouldn't be able to tell if you were serious or not.

That is an excellent excuse to keep combing through pictures from Mad Men. I may just do it.
